Come along to our relaunched film club and watch foreign/classic/cult/interesting movies with a group of like-minded people!

This month's film as part of our Norwegian film series: Bravehearts

Bravehearts (Norwegian name Til ungdommen) is an acclaimed 2012 Norwegian documentary directed by Kari Anne Moe. The original Norwegian name of the movie is Til ungdommen. The film originally set out to profile four politically active teenagers from different youth parties during an election cycle. However, production took a tragic turn during the real-world 2011 Norway terror attacks, when a far-right extremist targeted a youth summer camp on Utøya island, trapping one of the featured teenagers. The documentary shifts its lens to capture an incredibly moving story of resilience, exploring how these young individuals processed a national tragedy while remaining fiercely dedicated to democracy.

PLEASE NOTE THAT MEMBERSHIP OF OUR FILM SOCIETY IS REQUIRED FOR ATTENDANCE ($20 per family per year - covers up to 10 films per year - part year memberships available, just ask).  Film club membership is automatically included if you already hold a full Everyday membership of the centre.
