Film Club - "Flathead"

Australian feature film Flathead touches on themes of working-class life, regional environments, spirituality, second generation migrant life, neurodiversity, and a search for redemption and connection.

Flathead won a Special Jury Award at IFFR's Tiger Competition last year and the film went on to play in new cinematic voices selections at Warsaw, Sydney, Melbourne (Innovation Award Winner), Sao Paulo, Gijon and Goa, amongst others. The Guardian named Flathead the 4th best Australian film last year.
