Little Chefs

Little Chefs is a fun program designed for children age 3 years and over.  This is a highly popular course and bookings are essential. PLACES ARE LIMITED: we only have 8 cooking places available each week, however younger siblings of cooking participants are welcome to come and play also.

The course is free to members (membership costs around $2 per week) and costs $10 per week for non-members.  

During the program, the children are guided to create healthy snacks and meals, and then are encouraged to take part in tidying and washing up.  After the food has been cooked, all the children and their parents or carers sit down together to enjoy eating their creations.

• eating in a group encourages children to try foods they may not otherwise try as they see other children eating them

• children and parents learn about the pleasure and value of home cooked food
