Early Days lunch club - Buy for Baby Busselton Child Restraint Fittings and Checks

Come along to this lovely, friendly group which is especially for mums and dads who are expecting a baby and parents/carers of young babies.

The Early Days program aims to support families through the early stages of their baby's life, from conception through to the first few months of life post birth.

Our sessions start with lunch, which is cooked by one of our amazing volunteers, and we use this time to meet new people and share our parenting journeys.  Following this, we sometimes have presentations or activities based on various topics.  

We will have Buy for Baby Busselton joining us!  They are a WALGA Type 1 Certified Car Seat Restraint Fitter and will be offering free child car seat checks and installation.  Places are limited for the checks/installations so call the office to book your spot.

Buy for Baby Busselton will also be running an information session covering the following topics:

• Current National child restraint laws
• Types of child restraints available
• How to choose the correct child restraint to suit your circumstances 
• How to install child restraints correctly - things to check
• Demonstration on how to maintain a child restraint
• Discussion of suitable positioning of restraints, particularly in conjunction with other child restraints 

Our generous sponsors and volunteers mean that we can offer this as a free event, but we would really appreciate bookings each week to help us to know how much food to cook.  We also encourage attendees to take out a membership to our centre to help support our work and to allow free access to most of our groups and workshops and discounts on activities that carry a charge.
